i went to zouk flea market with mel today :) bought 3 retro-inspired tops and a floral dress.

but i tell u, i almost left my whole shopping bag in tampines mall's basement toilet ah. i SPRINTED all the way back from ntuc to find my shopping bag still there behind a semi-opened door.

i just watched THIN. if doc pro students read this they'd probably either think: "now then ur watching it?" or "oh man, dont be emotional" but it's hard not to.

im just imagining myself to be a mother of one of the girls and i dont know how im gonna live with myself if my kid ended up looking like this:

yeah la i know i sound emotional and thinking too much about it but it scares me. my girls wont end up looking like that boney chicken.

Busy Bee!!

this weekend was madness. soo many things to do and events to go to.

over the span of thurs, fri and sat ive been to peninsula 4 times to check on my camera and get a bounce, alter christmas clothes and re-check my flash.

thurs was my mom's bday so we had lunch at Vilage (old Marche) after doc pro and surprised her with a mini party with my cousin and aunt. after that, had to go home and get ready for the Herstory party.





i worked at the airport on fri and after that went for Jake's house party till i think 1.30am? lotsa fun :)

saturday i had an indian wedding at 8.00am and after that i had to rush down to the children's home for doc pro. i was super over-dressed man, i kinda felt like crap for that but oh well, good feeling abt doc pro :)

after that at 5pm i met Melissa and the very late girls in town for our CHRISTMAS DINNER 2007!!



we went to Pete's Place at Hyatt Hotel and my stupid portion was soo bloody small ah..Just look at that! i havent event touched it yet somemore.



i love my friends la only we would be this kiasu to take this much bread..



think we had 3 or 4 piles of this. and of course camwhoring in the toilet..

Im so pissed. No, Im miffed :(

haha ok enough with that (I bet some of u are smiling now if u know what I mean). But I really am pissed off la ok. I realized I havent mounted my board yet for Photojourn Assgn 2 so I went to Bras Basah yesterday to get it done professionally because I cant cut straight for nuts.

I forgot how to get there from NP so I ended taking the wrong buses and took 3 buses from NP instead of the usual 2. So, that got me a little annoyed.

When I finally reached there and bought my board from Art Friend, they had a slightly hidden sign that said "No Cutting Service Here". OK NVM..

Walked around the whole of Bras Basah and found 5 places that stated they had "Mounting Service" advertised on their door.

Can you imagine that all 5 places would not serve me? I asked if they had cutting service, they said no. Then said "yeah but u advertise u have mounting service?" All of them- "yeah, but we dont have the service anymore." WHAT THE FUCK, ALL YOUR EQUIPTMENT AND SPRAY MOUNTS ARE RIGHT INFRONT OF ME LA!!!

Just fucking imagine me ok- straight after school, took wrong buses, carrying board and spray mount in one hand, 2.5 kg laptop and bag in the other hand and walking ALL OVER looking for someone to help me cut my board.

I called Heikal at first and asked where did he get his done and he directed me to Joyce who said it was at this place called Colour Doc near the spiral staircase.

Colour Doc was the fucking first place I went to! It was crowded at first and the first guy told me "Um..We do not have cutting service here.This is also not a spiral staircase ok."

So the second time I came back, it had only 1 ang moh guy and I asked the second guy " Hi, my friends came here last week to cut their boards. You do not have the service anymore is it?" Which they CLEARLY DID because the spray mount and huge cutting boards are the first thing u see when u come in.

Second guy, turned away from the ang moh, "You see, it's not that we dont wanna serve u. We cant. We can only serve u if we're free."

That fucker never even asked me to wait, there was only 1 fucking customer who happened to be angmoh in the shop and i dont know what the rest of his 4 staff were doing you cant even help me mount my board for 5 mins?!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT WONT TAKE AN HOUR DUMBASS!!!


SO..i have come to a conclusion. All you backward Cinas that I went to at Bras Basah are RACIST! Just because im not Angmoh or Chinese u dont wanna serve me. All 5 of ur staff must serve your one Angmoh or Chinese customer.

why yes..i seem to be very wanted in these times where my project meetings are overlapping; very wanted indeed.

now ms patterson, please REMIND yourself that you MUST complete the following before hanging with your ctc girls at Dempsey Hill on Saturday:

1. mount my Photojourn Assgn 1 onto the board
2. compile lit review for Masina
3. compile effective people management and check on the skit done
4. do media law group project done
5. double check on survey for masina and start doing done
6. think of ideas of final Photojourn Project done

By the way, im quite happy with how my pictures came out :) except i forgot to take away the date so now it is "burned" onto my negatives!!! apart from that, very brilliant shots i should say.
